Beating Retreat

This year’s performances will feature The Massed Bands of the Foot Guards, The Mounted Band of the Household Cavalry, Pipes and Drums and Corps of Drums supported by the Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry with two visiting bands, The Band and Pipes of the United Arab Emirates, the Royal Choral Society and The United States Army Europe Band and Chorus, totalling more than 600 musicians.

Invariably described as ‘truly spectacular’ ‘epic’ and ‘London at its finest’, the Household Division Beating Retreat is a unique spectacle that is not replicated anywhere else in the world. It is a premier must-see event on the London social calendar.
