Corporate Sponsorship - The Good News

Do you want to create a memorable event for your employees or customers?

Are you seeking to raise your company profile?

Would you be interested in underwriting a fundraising event?

With its reputation for excellence and versatility the Royal Choral Society has already attracted sponsorship for individual concerts. Previous sponsors include J.P. Morgan, English Heritage and the NSPCC. Waitrose sponsored a magnificent performance of Haydn’s Creation in Peterborough Cathedral (see picture right), where the RCS were accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and professional soloists. This event was presented exclusively for John Lewis Partnership account card customers and was so successful that in 2002, the RCS sang two further concerts in Winchester, and Peterborough – both sponsored by Waitrose.

Like many arts organisations, the RCS receives no official funding or grant of any kind and is always looking for sponsorship to enable it to extend its range of both music and audience.

With its prestigious history, wealth of experience in organising large scale events, long list of contacts at the UK’s top venues and excellent working relationships with some of the country’s acclaimed orchestras, the RCS can offer a unique, accessible and high profile product that can enhance the good name of any company and attract large audiences. More importantly, with an ABC1 audience across all ages, the RCS is an excellent marketing tool for companies wishing to raise their profile or reward their customers, or for charities seeking to stage a ‘big’ event. The broad range of the RCS repertoire means that it can offer potential sponsors something to suit every taste and occasion.
